Terms and Conditions
Last updated September 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to services and products offered by Tamara Weiland / The Energy Studio Vienna and, where stated, the Energy Medicine Academy.
They apply in particular to group classes, class passes, memberships, workshops and events, ceremonies, private sessions and treatments, trainings and certification programs, gift cards, studio rentals and other services booked directly with The Energy Studio.
Terms of third-party booking platforms such as Eversports and Treatwell may additionally apply where their services are used.
Bookings and payment
A place in a class, workshop, event, training or private session is confirmed once the applicable booking process has been completed.
Regular group classes and selected events are generally booked through Eversports. Private sessions and treatments may be booked through Treatwell.
Current prices are displayed on the relevant booking page or communicated before the contract is concluded. Unless otherwise stated, consumer prices include applicable Austrian VAT.
For memberships and instalment plans, payments are due according to the agreed recurring payment schedule.
Class cancellations
Regular class bookings must generally be cancelled at least 6 hours before the scheduled start of the class.
If cancelled within the permitted period, the applicable class credit is returned according to the conditions of the purchased product.
For Unlimited Studio Members, late cancellations and no-shows may incur a €10 late-cancellation/no-show fee after one courtesy warning, where this forms part of the applicable membership or booking conditions.
For class passes and drop-in tickets, a late cancellation or no-show may result in the loss of the booked credit.
Different cancellation periods may apply to workshops, trainings, treatments, events and private bookings.
Late arrival
The studio doors open 20 minutes before the scheduled start of each class.
Once a class has started, late entry is not permitted. Participants arriving after the scheduled start time will be considered a no-show, and the applicable no-show policy will apply.
Participants are expected to remain for the full duration of the class except in an emergency or where there is a health or safety reason.
Private sessions and treatments
Private sessions and treatments are subject to a 24-hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, as well as no-shows, will be charged at the full session price.
Where sufficient notice is provided, appointments may be rescheduled subject to availability.
Certain treatments may be provided by independent practitioners. In these cases, the respective practitioner may be the contractual service provider and additional practitioner-specific terms may apply.
Class passes
Class passes are valid for the period stated at the time of purchase.
Unused credits expire after their stated validity period unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Class passes are personal and non-transferable unless expressly agreed.
A class pass does not guarantee a reservation for a particular class.
Memberships
Membership features, included classes, minimum contract duration, pause options and prices are those displayed and agreed at the time of purchase.
Depending on the membership, it may include a monthly number of class credits or unlimited access to eligible regular classes, discounts on selected services and access to eligible 45, 60 and 75-minute classes.
Special events, trainings, ceremonies, external collaborations, private treatments and separately priced workshops are not included unless expressly stated.
Where a membership has a fixed minimum commitment, for example three or six months, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled before the end of that minimum period except where a statutory or expressly agreed exceptional cancellation right applies.
Where a membership renews automatically, the renewal conditions accepted at the time of purchase apply. Mandatory termination rights under Austrian consumer law remain unaffected.
Membership pauses
A membership may only be paused where a pause option is expressly included in the purchased membership.
For example, selected six-month Unlimited memberships may include one two-week pause during the contractual period.
A pause must be requested before the intended pause period and generally cannot be applied retrospectively.
Memberships without an expressly stated pause option cannot ordinarily be paused.
Workshops and special events
Workshops, special events, ceremonies and other limited-capacity experiences may have cancellation conditions different from regular studio classes.
The applicable conditions are communicated on the event page, booking platform or booking confirmation.
Where organisationally possible, The Energy Studio may accept a replacement participant.
Trainings and certification programs
Training programs, including programs offered through the Energy Medicine Academy, may have separate enrolment, cancellation, instalment-payment, attendance and certification conditions.
Where specific training conditions are provided before enrolment, those conditions form part of the contract and take precedence over these general terms where they relate specifically to the training.
Unless otherwise agreed, training places are personal and cannot be transferred.
Certification may require attendance, participation, completion of practice requirements, assignments or other requirements specified for the respective training.
Payment by instalment does not mean that individual instalments correspond to independently cancellable modules unless expressly agreed.
A participant's decision not to attend individual training days or modules does not automatically release them from an agreed payment obligation for the training program. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Gift cards and vouchers
Gift cards may be used according to the conditions stated at the time of purchase.
Unless otherwise stated, gift cards may be redeemed toward eligible classes, private sessions or experiences offered directly by The Energy Studio.
Gift cards cannot ordinarily be exchanged for cash. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Health and personal responsibility
Participation in classes, workshops, treatments, ceremonies, trainings and other activities is voluntary.
Participants are responsible for deciding whether participation is suitable for their physical and psychological condition.
Participants should stop or modify an activity if they experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, unusual discomfort or another concerning symptom.
Pregnancy, injuries, significant medical conditions or other relevant circumstances should be discussed with an appropriate healthcare professional before participation.
The Energy Studio's wellbeing, energetic and spiritual services are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment unless a service is expressly provided by a regulated healthcare professional within their professional scope.
Energy work and holistic practices
Services such as Reiki, sound healing, meditation, breathwork, chakra work, cacao ceremonies, energy medicine and related energetic or spiritual modalities are intended as complementary wellbeing and personal-development practices.
Experiences and responses differ between individuals, and no particular physical, psychological, energetic or therapeutic outcome is guaranteed.
References to concepts such as energy, chakras, energetic balance or self-healing describe the philosophy and approach of the respective modality and should not be interpreted as medical diagnoses or guaranteed medical claims.
House rules
The Energy Studio aims to maintain a respectful, safe and inclusive environment.
Participants must behave respectfully toward teachers, practitioners, team members and other guests.
Harassment, threatening behaviour, intentional disruption, discriminatory behaviour or conduct creating a significant safety risk may result in removal from a session or the studio.
In cases of serious or repeated misconduct, The Energy Studio may, where legally permissible, refuse future participation.
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Liability for lost, stolen or damaged items is governed by applicable Austrian law.
Photography and recording
Photography, video or audio recording by participants during classes, treatments or trainings is not permitted where it interferes with other participants' privacy, confidentiality or the intellectual property of teachers.
The Energy Studio may take photographs or videos at selected events for communication or promotional purposes, subject to applicable privacy and personality rights. Where required, participants will be informed and consent obtained.
Intellectual property and training materials
Course materials, manuals, recordings, presentations, methods, written documents and other original training content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Training materials may not be copied, resold, published online, shared with third parties or used to reproduce the training itself without prior written permission.
Right of withdrawal
Where a consumer concludes a contract remotely, statutory withdrawal rights under Austrian consumer law apply where legally applicable. The statutory withdrawal period for many distance contracts is 14 days.
However, Austrian law provides exceptions for certain contracts, including certain leisure services provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Depending on the nature of the booking, a statutory withdrawal right may therefore not apply to a class, workshop or event booked for a specific date.
Where a service begins during an applicable withdrawal period at the consumer's express request, statutory rules concerning payment for services already provided and, where applicable, loss of the withdrawal right after complete performance apply.
Any statutory rights applicable to the particular transaction remain unaffected by studio cancellation policies.
Liability
The Energy Studio is liable in accordance with applicable Austrian law.
Any contractual limitation or exclusion of liability applies only to the extent legally permissible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for intentional conduct or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Participants remain responsible for communicating relevant limitations, following reasonable safety instructions and participating within their own capabilities.
Applicable law
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions insofar as legally permissible.
For consumers, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which they are habitually resident remain unaffected where applicable. Mandatory statutory jurisdiction rules for consumers remain unaffected.
For contracts with entrepreneurs, Vienna is agreed as the place of jurisdiction to the extent legally permissible.
